Have you ever not understood why something happened? I have. There are things I just simply do not understand, things that there are no answers for. The only answer that will suffice is Jesus. When things are not clear and I don’t have all the answers, that’s when I need to trust Jesus the most. Isn’t that what faith is all about?
Faith is when I can’t see and don’t understand on my own. God never said we would have all the answers, He said not to lean onto our own understanding, and to trust Him. Sometimes that’s hard when everything you can see is screaming out at you, telling you what to believe, but always remember GOD IS GREATER! He is stronger and HE IS your answer. HE IS your truth.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Maybe you are going through some pretty tough questions right now. I pray God reminds you as He reminds me that, right now, we can’t see everything clearly or understand everything with our physical minds. We only see a part of the story, we only see through the darkened looking glass of life. One day, we will see Him face to face and we will know Him, truly know Him, in all His splendor and glory, as He knows us fully.
My encouragement to you today is this: Keep your eyes on Jesus. Are there going to be things you don’t understand? Yes. Trust Him. God sees the beginning from the end. He is the Author and the Finisher. Put the pen of life in His hand. Let Him write your story: beginning, middle, and end. His ways are higher.
