Did you know that you mercies are renewed every day? Today is a new day and I want you to know that every day above ground is a good day. EVERY morning when you wake up, be purposeful and intentional in making it a priority to give God the best prayer ever before you start your day. You want to give God your first offering in the morning, not your leftovers at night. We have so much to be grateful for.
By presenting yourself to the Lord each day, what you are communicating to God is this: aside from you, I am not able to do anything throughout the day. God I need you for my very next breath, I am absolutely not capable of making any decisions without you.
When I think of the grace of God, what comes to my mind is my immediate family. I think about waking up to my wonderful husband, eight amazing children – five of them are teenagers and every morning I have to ask God to give me the strength to be the best wife, the best mother, the best nurturer, the best encourager, the best listener, the best motivational speaker, and writer for my family and those I come into contact with, and that he would give me the patience and knowledge to handle the situations that may occur throughout the day in a Godly and Christ-like way and to give me a strategy to do creative and intentional things with them.
One of the things that I do is I try to turn everything into a teaching moment. When I go throughout my day I use my life as a testimony so if I am in the supermarket and someone says, “How could you smile with all those children?” (believe it or not someone did ask me that), I am a able to look them in the eye and tell them, “By the grace of God,” and then when they say, “What does that mean?” I am then presented with an opportunity to showcase the gospel of Jesus and then I would then give them a card or offer to pick them up for church.
So what is my purpose for sharing this story? There may be mothers or fathers or even grandparents or anyone who has been given the amazing privilege to pour into a young person’s life and they may be discouraged because they don’t have time to share the gospel with people, but I’m here to tell you it’s a new day!!
Your day is today – when you go to the doctor, look for an opportunity.
When you go to the dentist, look for an opportunity.
When you pray ask God to allow you to be sensitive to those people around you that are hurting.
I lovingly challenge you to share the gospel with at least one person this week and then next week and then the week after that. Look in your phone book or on your Facebook or Twitter. God works through people – do you know that there are some people who are waiting to hear your testimony to come to Christ? We are walking around with the answer.
People are hurting – they need answers.
People are being deceived – they need answers.
People are being manipulated – they need answers.
People believe that there is no hope – they need answers.
People are confused – they need answers.
People are being tormented in their mind – they need answers.
People are sick – they need answers.
We the church have the answer. Let us go and compel those people to come.. This may appear to be a time of trouble, of chaos. But God said in his Word that he is our refuge and our strength a very present help in time of trouble.
The fact that he woke you up today means that he is not done with you. You have greatness on the inside of you, You are destined for greatness. You are the answer to somebody’s prayer. Your best life is ahead of you and the best is yet to come.

In her own words: My hearts breaks for women and I believe in coming alongside them and believing God with them that at the end of the day we will all be lovingly challenged to come up higher as it pertains to the things of God. And I whole heartily believe that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think. He also said in his Word no good thing would he with hold from them that love him.
